Verse for the Day: 2 Corinthians 12:9-11 (NIV)

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

    • +Cara Nitz That is a good analogy. We will think of it every time we are emptying the dishwasher. 🙂

  1. I thank you so much! I was so worried about change and whether God would help me and worried about how or if he was going to help me. I was listening to music when an add popped up about this and I clicked on it and it brought me to these videos. I think that God brought me to these videos to help me, which it did and I feel relieved. Thank you.

    • +Tristan Hodgden You are very welcome. God certainly does take care of us all. We're really glad He brought you to this message today and that it helped you. We'll be here every weekday with new messages if you need us. 🙂

    • +Tristan Hodgden That is awesome! Cannot wait to see what they come up with for next week.

    • +Jesse Hieb Ha! We hear you. I think we have all been there. We can be so thankful that God does NOT give us what we think we want.

  2. Nice work today Pastor Jon – When I was a young man, and a new Christian, I really struggled with this passage "My Grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness", then life brought a teaching example making me totally weak, and now I know exactly why Paul was inspired to write about Grace being made perfect in weakness. I once had a super-beautiful one-year old daughter who loved to close the dishwasher door with the full fury of a football team hitting a blocking sled. A father's memories it seems, are made in the kitchen!

    • +Matt Trotter So glad to hear that the Holy Spirit worked through this passage to help whatever situation in life that you struggled with to make sense. Hope you enjoy the coming videos, as well. 🙂

  3. Pastor Jon, Amen… I am so thankful that when we are weak…. He is strong!!!  God Bless your ministry outreach on YouTube!!!  🙂  GGG
